About the Department

The Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) Department under the self-financed scheme provides quality education in commerce, business, finance, and accounting. The Department develops a strong conceptual foundation in accounting, business law, economics, taxation, auditing, management, banking, and financial services. Through classroom teaching, practical exercises, case studies, seminars, workshops, presentations, and project-based learning, students develop analytical, numerical, communication, and decision-making skills. The Department encourages students to understand contemporary business practices, financial markets, entrepreneurship, and the changing economic environment. It prepares students for higher education and diverse career opportunities in accounting, banking, finance, taxation, auditing, business management, entrepreneurship, and competitive examinations.
