The Department of Music (Instrumental – Tabla) is dedicated to promoting excellence in Indian classical music and nurturing students’ artistic and creative abilities through systematic Tabla training. The department offers comprehensive instruction in rhythm, taal, layakari, accompaniment, solo performance, and the traditional Tabla repertoire. Through regular practical classes, demonstrations, performances, workshops, and stage activities, students develop technical proficiency, musical understanding, discipline, concentration, and confidence. Special emphasis is placed on preserving and promoting the rich heritage of Indian classical music while encouraging creativity and contemporary expression.
